Safety Question

Post by Sandspur »

I have a large kayak that requires a bed extender on my truck. I need a good, permanent red "flag" to hang from the bed extender so that vehicles behind me will remain at a safe distance and not run into my kayak. I have looked at several locations, including the truck stop out on U.S. 90 west of town, and cannot find a heavy material "flag" to attach. I have seen them attached to bed extenders and just wonder where to obtain one for mine.

I hauled kayaks on a bed extender with only a flag for about a year but just wasn't comfortable with that arrangement at night. Adding a set of trailer lights was easy and relatively inexpensive.
