Best Place to Park OVERNIGHT for Ochlockonee Bay?

Planning to do an overnight trip in Ochlockonee Bay area (Chaires Creek/Bald Point) in May and looking for the safest place to park overnight?
Can you leave a vehicle, overnight, at the public boat ramp on south side of 98 bridge? Anyone heard of any problems there? Or is there a better/more secure place nearby?
