went red fishing and guess what I caught?
Happily....I caught a baby tarpon on my ultra light and a redfish on my 10wt. I released the tarpon very quickly after a couple pics and it swam off strong. The red will be released in grease tonight. In all fairness, my stomach sticking out makes the tarpon look waaaay smaller then it was

luceror ................. I love kayak fly fishing but am to old to blind cast a 10wt very much So I have my fly rod ready and when an opportunity presents itself, I try to capitalize. Those schools of lady fish you have been finding are great kayak fly-fishing practice, so that when you do run into medium sized (or less) poons or big reds, you can get the fly to them accurately and quickly.
