bottoms rd 7/1

Post by luceror »

Got out and 7to ride the rest of outgoing tide. Got offshore to look for tarpon and avstorm was brewing so I came back in shore just in case. Got back out after threat had passed. Saw maybe 3 tarpon roll but only one was w in casting range. No strikes. Went trt Fishing.Did about the same thing on tuess. Except a large tarpon ate my mirrodine. After the second jump I managed to release my anchor. The yak swung around I was feeling good. The wind was blowing me toward the fish. On the 4 jump( totally airborne) the leader parted. It came back a foot shorter then when I casted it Did catch 3 keeper try today.one was 25" which I returned to do what try do.

Great stuff with the tarpon and trout! I'm thinking that a mirrodine is a fair trade for that memory. Well done.

Agree with previous statement. A mirrodine is a small price for a memory like that. Great read

Thanks for the report. I agree with the others regarding swapping the lure for that memory! :D

Nice report. I'll trade a mirrodine for a Tarpon hookup.
