Re: Bull Shark Flips Fisherman's Kayak
My analysis is that he was using a lanyard on his pole, as rod floats would have ended the show after he flipped. And he had enough sense not to use a sit in yak offshore. Also he broke the cardinal rule about fighting big fish at right angles to the yak, also he seemed to be in a hurry to get away from his kayak, as he had unhooked the lanyard attaching him to the yak. He was using a PFD, and we have to guess he used a diaper to prevent a bodily biohazard dumping into the ocean, (EPA would have been on him " like a duck on a junebug") so overall I have to say they must have edited out the "hold my beer watch this" from any audio recorded.
Actually he is only slighty smarter than the Darwinian stooge that put the big motar firework on his head, maybe he can win the Darwin Award next year.

Watched an interview with him afterwards on TV. Only his 5th time ever in a kayak. I would have cut the line once I knew it was a shark that big!

My conclusion is that we nearly witnessed a successful culling of the gene pool.abcarias wrote: draw your own conclusions
