Got :23 on some nice upper slot reds on oyster bar. Best action was last hr of floodtide. Gold spoon and/or catch Jr mirrodine were both catching good!

Congrats on your catches and thanks for the details of the structure, tides and lures. We can always depend on you for a report, "good or bad". (Ain't no "bad" in fishing) :D

Hello, I'm new to the site and wanted to ask someone about fishing in the Panacea area. I will be staying at Alligator Point for a week in October and would like to get pointed in the right direction. I am curious about redfish, trout and flounder. I will be kayak fishing. Can you tell me some areas to fish? Thanks for any help.

Newmuskie,..Panacea area.. Try bottoms rd. Or levy bay rd. Both have launching access for kayaks .bottoms rd. W give u some open water grass flats( if u go to the offshore side of Piney island)or some estuary marsh if u choose to just follow shorelines from launch.levybay is estuary marsh w oyster bars. I FSH mostly out of bottoms rd. U might also like to chk out Bald point(interesting place to fish)pull in to Crums bait shop if u need directions or bait and tackle. They are in panacea. Hope this helps.
