10/13 Bottoms Road
Got out to Bottoms road at 0800. Low tide scheduled to be at 0930. Paddled around the point and across to Piney Island. Went through a couple creeks. Beautiful day and weather, but no luck on the fish. Got 2-3 short strikes on topwater. Lots of baitfish. Didn't see any signs of an fish feeding. Went back in around 1130.

I went yestd. Thurs. Around outsidevpiney. Pretty low tide.went about300yds offshore of island and FD some water deep enough to fish some shallow running lures. There was trt. Mostly shorts 14", but ended up w 4 keepers fr day. Some Spanish still and. Some ladies. After tide got up there was some reds around marsh grass.didn't see a lot of activity(except ladyfish)!
