GALE force Winds Sunday LevyBay
Well maybe not gale force winds but sitting in a kayak it sure felt like it. Went to LevyBay Sunday morning with a buddy and got blown all over the place. Fishing was hard. Ended up catching one 14" flounder and lost a few small reds at the boat. I spooked a good 23-25" red, don't you love it when that happens, you see the mud shoot-up and look down just in time to see him shoot under the yak. Oh well that's fishing.

I wasn't too far from you and I had similar luck.
I caught one keeper trout in an oyster bar blowout on the incoming tide. That was it. A few swirls on the topwater in the morning.
My buddy posted up on a hole with shrimp on the bottom and did much better. A handful of puppy reds and short trout, and one trout at 20".
The wind is insane lately.
Thanks for the report!
