Decided to try Sink Creek Friday morning solo. I have never launched from there. It was shallow going, but manageable. I initially caught a nice red and 2 trout that were scattered in 2.5 feet of water. Didn't get much of anything else and was worried about water depth. Went back to the launch after about 2 hours and decided to run up the road to Rocky Creek as I knew the channel would provide enough water depth.
All my fish at Rocky Creek were caught in the deeper channel areas from the mouth outward. Those channels were only 4-5 feet deep. Didn't catch any fish outside the channels. Ended up with 1 red and 25 trout for the day.
