Panama City, west bay bridge

Post by Sunjammers »

Just got back from my lunch break, which I used to go fishing. We took the rev and outback, 5 min drive north on 79 and we were there. I was using a doa shrimp and the other guy was useing a gulp bait. we had 1 red and a bunch of under sized trout, then we got into a bed of 16-20" trout, we had about 10 min and 10 or so trout. It was GREAT day, I was in shorts and t-shirt on the 1st of December!

now that's getting personal..... .the gulp had more bites but the doa constantly caught the big fish, its a toss up. I think the gulp is the better of the 2 baits.

we can't get gulp around here the redfish tour nationals bought all anyone had so until the stores can get some more were stuck with the

I never make it down that far, I try to avoid Wal-Mart at all cost. I know Half Hitch and Howells have been out. This cold snap should have the trout bunched up even more. I know a few of use are going to try and get out on Thursday...anyone else want to join us?
