The wind was kicking pretty good today, so I went out pretty late. Right after football started. I saw Jacksonville was not being broadcast in HDTV again, so I went fishing. I put in at Oyster Bay, and did a little exploring. I went east since I always go west. I ran into Chuck in one of the canals and got a little insight on local fishing, and then headed out to the open water. The tide was starting to go out and the sun was going down, so I was getting ready to call it a day when I picked a Red that was a little over 23”. He put up one hell of a fight and was doing a little grunting so he must have been looking for a mate, and I was not the mate. Better luck next time Mr. Red. The wind died down and it started getting beautiful but there was no light and I have a house to take care of. Next time!
