Can anyone point me towards a bait shop or two that has steady supply of minnows around south side of Talquin? New to area and hve not fished lake but hoping to find some Crappie. Does anyone know good source of detailed map of Talquin? Looking to find creek channels, end.
Thanks in advance

Re: Bait shops near Talquin
There are several bait shops on Highway 20 along the south shore. My favorite is the first one about midway between Barineau Road and Geddie Road, a couple of miles east of Coe's Landing. They are very friendly, and they've got tackle and snacks, and golden and silver minnows for I think $1.70/dozen.
For some simple maps, type Lake Talquin into Google Images. You'll see the channel runs close to the south side and comes in close to many of the landings on that side of the lake. Good luck with the crappie!
