Went over Sat before last to WW, left w an awesome 2016 Cuda 12, good advice and a free lure! Camped at Newport for the weekend and fished Wakulla beach. Went left Sat afternoon and got lady fish and cats and some croakers. Really was looking for trout. Sun morning sleep too late and apparently missed the bite at daylight, went right and caught one small red, my first one ever, and cats, ladys and croakers. Still no trout. Tried late over the grass off the beach but nothing. I tried gulp shrimp, mullet, top water plug, and gold spoon and live shrimp. Fished hard but no trout. It was very hot, wondering if I should have went up the creeks looking for them? Any advice on catching em in the summer?
Thanks to WW for the help, I love my new boat!

Happy you like your new boat. Those Jackson Kayaks are great! Next time you are down here stop by the Wilderness Way again and we will try to steer you to a good area for reds and trout. Apparently, you are doing it right, that's a lot of fish you caught!
