Fly fishing trade off

Post by LCallaghan »

I wanted see if anybody would be interested in taking me out with them some time to throw the long rod. I will put you on the fish if you will supply the rod and flies. I am in the market for a set up but I wanted to see how it works out of a yak before I bought. I have alot of experience with a fly rod.
Please PM me.

liam. i will be glad to do some freshwater flyrod'n out of the yak with you so that you can hone your mad skills with the long wand. i think that freshwater is a bit easier leap than the salt. less wind, no currents, etc. i am also curious about fly'n in the salt, just haven't taken that step yet. see you at rock the dock and we can kick it around.

I have a few reels at the factory for maintenance. I would be happy to share sometime, how are weekday afternoons for you? Full fishing days are reserved for the tarpons for a few months.
