Fly Casting Instruction

Post by shutupandstrip »

Yesterday, I took a lesson with Doug Behrman of Tallahassee. I've been fly fishing for the better part of 7 years and wanted to fine tune a few kinks in my cast. In less than an hour, he had me casting loops that could shoot through a car window.....both sides. :D Needless to say, I was extremely impressed. Doug is a certified FFF fly casting instructor as well as winning the Del Brown Permit tournament in 2007 and owning the redfish fly rod record on a 2 lb tippet. (29lb redfish on 2 lb tippet. 8O ) I HIGHLY recommend him for beginners wanting to learn how to cast a loop and to anyone else wanting to refine their craft. I'm not the type to broadcast numbers, but I called him earlier today and he told me he'd be delighted to help anyone. His number is 850.545.6272.
