Crappie on a flyrod?
Anyone chasing specs with fly gear ?? Lake Jackson has been producing some nice crappie on beetle-spins, and I was curious about how to fish little streamers. Any info would be helpful !

I catch em now and then on small popper flies but I never really target them. perhaps small clousers or other minnow pattern would work. try a google search for crappie fly patterns. this should provide some good info.

In the winter time when the fish school up in open water a small white minnow imitation on a sink-tip or intermediate line can kill em. Find the suspended fish just like you usually do and then set up on them and break out the fly rod.
