I had bookmarked this Surf Candy pattern a while back but I am not sure I passed it on (or the site either.)

I also launched an interesting Bass Popper technique from there. Here is the direct link.
To be clear these links were both pilfered from the Global Flyfishing site.
Hopefully, they will bring out some ideas. I may need to go get a hot glue gun, buy a fly turner, and warm up my Dremel. I am not sure that I can match the speed of the dude in the video.

Re: Surf Candy and Bass Popper
dang. gonna have to try that one. this month's fly challenge on KBF is to make a frog pattern fly and catch the biggest fish you can with it. a nice Fishpond product is the prize.
thanks for the find, greg.
ps. the black one with the red eyes, near the end of the video is the "business".

BK - I thought you might like that, similar to a crease fly but maybe with a bit more volume and a nice cupped face.
I have recently taken to trying to organize some of my tying stuff and I realized I have quite a selection of flat and 3D eyes give me a holler if you need a couple.
