Ahoy FCKAers!

Post by BearsFan »

Been a while, thought I would throw up some pics from a nice day earlier this winter to get the tide moving through here a bit. Not that I don't enjoy all the exciting pics of tank raised rainbows laying in the grass....
Enjoy,
-BF

Nice variety of spots (and lack thereof) on those redfish. Definitely beats my winter this year. Thanks for posting.

You know I am...

It is my take on the ep spawning shrimp. Seems to be a winner.

A little before and after for you.

very nice. thank you. i see the dumbell eyes. what are you using for the bead eyes? a small bead on hard mono?
btw. does F really equal -Kx? :D

F is always equal to -kx, its a law! The eyes are glass beads glued onto mono with a bit of black sharpie on the end of it. I make them by sliding on the bead, blackening the last 1/8" of the mono with a sharpie, burning the end and slide the bead onto the still hot blob of mono, then a drop of superglue. takes some practice but the eyes are awesome when finished.

You "fly guys" are funny.

Well, darnit!! I have been very intrigued with the beauty and artistry of the fly fishing and fly tying,
but now it looks like you have to study physics to do it right!

F=-kx Hook's Law

"If you want to hook 'em, then you gotta F=-kx 'em"

(A little Fly Fishing Physics humor. You can steal it if ya wanna. Might make a cute bumper sticker) :P
