pop'n crease
the pop'n crease continues to be productive. after fishing the monthly fcka a wb, i hit a favorite pond around dinner time. the bass, bream, and crappie were active on the pop'n crease. i tend to strip this popper pretty aggressively unless nothing's hitting. then i'll slow it down. if anyone wants to learn to tie one of these, let me know.

Re: pop'n crease
I would like to know how to tie the pop'n crease. The flies I have been using are not producing too well in this hot, hot weather.

And, if anyone wants to turn these cute little nippers into an FCKA comic strip (ahem, cyAgraphics, WAKE UP!!!
) then that would make me very happy!

Re: pop'n crease
just whipped up 12 more of the pop'n crease in size 4 for a KBF fly swap. These flies are my go-to for bass, bream, and crappie.
i always have a bunch laying around cause they're just as much fun to tie as they are to throw. Hit me up if you want a couple.

foam sg'd to hooks.

tied and tailed up

hand colored and epoxy coated.

This is art and you are an artist. Nice work, BK.
I could use a dog from the hair that bit me.

Re: pop'n crease
Brad,
I would like to have one. I would like to send it to my brother in law, he will send back one of his. He is eye deep in bonefishing the Bahamas lately but he loves poppers.
I used one of his shrimp flies under a cajun thunder last summer and caught about a dozen trout until a spanish bit it off.
