spin or fly? that is the question..or is it

Post by abcarias »

I almost always take the ultra light spinning rod cuz ....well Im not sure, I just do. Broderidge use to always tell me I d be a better fly fisher when i started leaving it home.

This little April fly convinced me to pickup my fly rod and try my April fly imitation this morning.

That's frequently a question for me and I really enjoy fishing with each of them. When I want to cover more water, or feel the need to fish deep, I usually opt for the ultra-light. The problem is that I love to fish top water and with the tiny flies or poppers. Doesn't matter though. Either one can be a ton of good times.

Man we may have to rename this section Steve's flyfishing adventures. You are lighting up the fly rod lately. Thanks for the posts and the tips.
