Lake bradford today

Before dinner tonight, i took the fly rod with a white popper down to the beach to see if anything was moving. In just a short time, i caught some beautiful brim and some small bass. If i would have taken out the kayak, i could have loaded the boat. We finally have some nice water and the fish are hungry. I am so glad the Lake is back. Recently the speckled perch were biting and were nice sized. I caught a few on the fly, but most of them on live minnows.
