Big Bend Outfitters in Perry has these Ego Nets. They float and just the right length for me.

Fish grips are your best net. They don't take up space nor do they foul with trebles.

But they aren't as reliable for getting a fish in the boat. Especially flounder.

I fish out of a canoe and a Pathfinder 15T. I have used this net for many years and it’s held up very well. It takes up little room and is locally made. Works for me, but not sure how much room it would take up in a kayak.

I have both. Bogs can weigh your fish, but a flounder will get away with a boga, and cost you a lot of money in a tournament.
