Lighthouse 6/30
My wife Melanie and I hit the flats out in the lighthouse early Saturday. Water was calm with a light breeze. Slow to start with the usual catfish and small sharks. Around 10 picked up a 17 inch trout and then a 20 incher. Of course she then catches her first trout in a kayak at 23 inches. Great day on the water for us.

Good going, Tim! Beware the wife that out fishes you. You will never hear the end of it. That trout trio would make a good 4th of July cookout. I have seen lots of scallops around the east flats also.

Great report Tim!
Been tarpon fishing the past few weekends, so no reports from me...lol! Only if I catch one.
