Is there any people in the area that tie flies and if so where I am looking to learn a few things. Is there a fly tying club in or near tally

The website has some broken links but most of the info is still acurate to the best of my knowledge (not actual member yet but need to join.)

Gerald Bell is still president at least he was at 2010 FCKA tourney.

BK and Abcarias are active members of FCKA and FBBFF as I remember. Gerald Bell is a member of FCKA as well although I forget his FCKA handle.

I bet you will get more info around quitting time today and members log on.

also, what type of tying are you looking to do? fresh? salt? how much experience do you have tying? do you own a vice?

I "own" many vices - some of them will even firmly hold onto a bare hook :wink: .
