Any advice for Apalachicola river at Torreya SP?

I'm doing the backpacking thing this weekend and fishing is one of the side activities. I think I may try the long rods (since I doubt I will catch anything anyway and they breakdown to more convenient sizes.) If you have any ideas throw them my way since I will be flying completely blind on this.

Greg, I LOVE that area of Torreya and The Nature Conservancy's "Garden of Eden". Magnificent steephead ravines, salamanders, fossils, breathtaking vistas.
It's where I used to take my daughter and her friends and her science/outdoor club hiking and exploring and dreaming.
It's where "the original wannadodat" decided she wanted to be a filmmaker and shoot her first movie called "Cliff".
Never fished the banks, which look a bit treacherous in places, and may be a bit tough with the vegetation for flyfishing, but what the heck!!! Plus, a rod you can break down is smart for hiking the trails.
Go for it! Catch us a sturgeon or a big gar and send lots of pictures of your adventures!!!
I think I'll have to trek over there soon before it gets hot. Have a blast!!
Jean
