Spanish Mackerel (and a Pompano) at SGI

I put up a long winded post on Saltwater Reports. The highlight for me was a dozen or so Spanish on the fly and a bonus pompano that had no business taking that fly that high in the water column. I'mnot complaining though.

Go to the East end of SGI for the Spanish bite tomorrow if you can.

Every now and then during lulls in tarpon action we will throw little clousers to take home a few pomps for dinner.

Dang...I was there all weekend all I could catch were trout.

If I had treble hook I could have caught bk, he came so close to my yak ;-)

Turned out well as he passed some nice flies off to me which I used successfully on Jackson tonight.

Good to meet wana do too!
