Loving poppers, when I saw this pattern I had to tie one up.
It's called a chicone's disco shrimp. I called it blind because I didn't have any materials where I am to make eyes out of.

Cool looking disco shrimp.
May be blind but I heard he can do some mean John Travolta Saturday Night Fever moves!

Nice looking tie. Is that intended for salt or fresh or mix?

That one is for redfish. I also tied a couple scaled down for panfish. On a size 8. The bass and panfish killed it. Pushed and spitted very nicely. You can find the tie on YouTube.

The smaller version has really been doing a number on the titty bream and bass. Again, a fun tie. These tied on a size 8.
Even the shell crackers eat em up
And newly stocked bass.
Again, just search chicone's disco shrimp on YouTube for the tie.

Disco, disco shrimp!
That little handmade popper fly is killing 'em!
They can't resist it!
Those are some huge and beautiful bream! And the bass are fat and growing.
I can't wait til you land one of the carp on that fly!
(Could you just tie a removable bit of "fluff" on the disco shrimp so you can use the same lure for both the bream and the carp without having to re-tie?)
And what a great way to enjoy a little after work trip to your local pond.
Redfish and trout for the more distant weekend trips. Freshwater delights in between.
Ahhhhhhh!
