Florida - For Sale

Post by brianBFD »

I like to visit and fish in this area. I wonder what's in store for the locals there....

Their plan sounds similar to what St. Joe set out to do about 15 years ago. I believe it will be a tough sale without wide sandy beaches and warm tropical breezes. I worked with St. Joe and was involved with their master planning at a number of "RiverCamp" sites. It looks good on paper, but paper planning is a lot cheaper and much easier than permitting. When the yellow flies come out it puts a damper on enthusiasm too. We shall see.

If the price is right people/ investors will buy. It's only a matter of time, matey 20-30 years, but with population growth and increased relocation to Florida it is only a matter of time before the rural forgotten coast becomes increasingly saturated. Must enjoy it while you can. I hate over populated areas and dealing with crowds..I avoid as much as possible.
