No never attempted fly tying. Was reading in the flyfishing section and got me thinking of rinsing the dust off my fly rod. Came across that picture and figured you guys would get a good laugh out of it. I will soon be spending some time at our new place up the river from ORSP and thinking about taking the fly rod. Will need to practice...

I read the article and now you actually have me thinking on this...we see them on a regular basis while cobia fishing but generally they have seen us by then, maybe the stealth of the kayak and fly will make for some success. These days we have hundreds of buoys(seagrass, idle speed zone, etc. etc.) I will work on my comfort level in the kayak and then maybe we give this a try! What flies would you suggest? These fish seem pretty savvy...
